Colorado Landscape Timelapse

A couple of weeks ago, I took my annual art trip with my sister. This year, we both stepped out of our comfort zones and joined my dad in a photography course to capture the beautiful Colorado Aspens in the fall. It was an awesome trip and I came away with new skills and a ton of inspiration for my art.

One of the pictures that I took on our trip really called to me, so I decided to create a mixed media art journal page inspired by this capture of Crested Butte Mountain. Check out that sunrise!

I printed out the photo and decided how to crop it to fit into my art journal and then I got to work. In the process, I made my first time lapse video. My good friend has been encouraging me to make one, so I set up a tripod atop my desk and tried it out.

Let me know if you’d like to see more of this type of video. Do you like it that fast or would you prefer it a tad slower so you can get a better idea of what I’m doing?
